Pineapple, Avocado, Ginger, Mint, and Lime Smoothie


Pineapple, Avocado, Ginger, Mint, and Lime Smoothie

Makes 1 serving

1 cup hemp, coconut, almond, oat, or another unsweetened milk of choice

½ cup coconut water

1 cup frozen pineapple

¼ ripe avocado

1-2 handfuls baby spinach or 1/2-1 cup frozen

1 tablespoon ground flax seeds

2 tablespoons pumpkin seeds

1 scoop protein powder or 2 tablespoons hemp seeds

6 fresh mint leaves

¼-inch piece ginger, peeled and roughly chopped

1 tablespoon lime juice

1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Add additional liquid for a thinner consistency.

Note: If new to flax seeds, start with 1 teaspoon and increase by ½ teaspoon each day.
