Everyday Blueberry Seed Smoothie
Makes 1 serving
1/2 cup hemp, coconut, almond, oat or another unsweetened milk of choice
1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or more milk)
½ frozen banana (see note)
½ cup frozen wild blueberries
¼ avocado
1/2 cup frozen spinach or a few kale leaves (or more if desired)
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
2 Brazil nuts
Dash cinnamon (optional)
1-2 scoops collagen protein powder or a serving of another protein powder
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Add additional liquid for a thinner consistency.
Drink at room temperature during cooler months.
Note: Adding frozen banana makes the smoothie extra creamy. To freeze bananas, peel, slice in half, and store in an airtight container.
