
Banana Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie
Makes 1 serving
1/2 cup hemp, coconut, almond, soy, oat or another unsweetened milk of choice
1/2 cup full fat Greek yogurt
1 frozen banana (see note)
2 tablespoons peanut butter, almond butter or tahini
1/2 cup frozen spinach (optional)
1 tablespoon flax seeds
Dash cinnamon
1-2 scoops collagen protein powder or a serving of another protein powder
Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Add additional liquid for a thinner consistency.
Drink at room temperature during cooler months.
Note: Adding frozen banana makes the smoothie extra creamy. To freeze bananas, peel, slice in half, and store in an airtight container.
